Growing up, I loved everything that had to do with weddings. I loved seeing happy couples together, watching wedding shows on TLC, learning about different weddings dresses, and fantasizing about my own wedding.
Gorgeous new wedding dress necklines, skirt options, embellishments, colors, and accessories were seen on the Spring 2015 bridal runways.
Here are a few super chic wedding dress trends that I saw on the runways that I fell in love with!
I love the fact that colored wedding dresses are becoming more popular. White, ivory, champagne, and blush are the colors that most wedding dresses come in. On the bridal runways this year, wedding dresses came in shades of green, blue, and gray. This dress in particular is a strapless mint tulle ball gown. It has a sweetheart neckline (my fave!), a draped bodice, and a tiered skirt. Designed by: Monique Lhuillier.
Beach chic dresses are gowns that are perfect for the destination bride. These dresses are usually loose fitting, so that they can blow in the wind and very light-weight so that you can stay cool during the summer. The dress pictured to the right is a sleeveless A-line gown with re-embroidered lace. It also has a deep-v neckline and a crystal belt. Designed by: Reem Acra.
Dresses With Tulle Skirts
Tulle seemed to be the fabric of the season this year. A lot of dresses with tulle overlays and tulle skirts were featured on the bridal runways. I fell in love with the tulle skirt on the wedding dress pictured to the left. This dress is a sleeveless lace ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. It has thin straps and a tiered tulle skirt. This dress is super adorable and perfect for anyone who loves poofy ball gowns and a lot of tulle! Designed by: Monique Lhuillier.
30’s glam consists of dresses that are form-fitting and sparkly. These dresses are gorgeous and elegant. 30’s glam dresses are usually sheath dresses and made from delicate fabrics that features draped details. This dress in particular is super glamorous and it is a long-sleeved sheath dress. It has a deep v-neckline and lovely beaded details. Designed by: Mira Zwillinger.
